The Institute for Home Management has been created to meet the needs of both employers and employees in the following sectors:

From our market research, we have established that there is a need to provide more highly trained home management staff to employers of home help. Correspondent to this, we have identified a gap in skills training amongst staff applying for jobs as Housekeepers, Au Pairs, Mother’s Help, Cleaners and Carers.

We have now developed a training course for the above staff to improve both their skill base as well as the quality of their service.
